Understanding my commission and payouts

The commission is locked in at departure. Rentals paid online are paid out to you; those paid in cash are re-invoiced.

Karya takes a commission on every rental. Its rate is set by the platform and locked on the line when you declare “Customer arrived”: a later change in the rate never affects a rental that has already started. The rate applied appears on your invoices and in Finances.

Two different flows

Rental paidWho collectsHow the commission is settled
OnlineKarya collects, then pays you outIt is deducted from the payout
In cash at the agencyYou collect directlyIt is re-invoiced on your next invoice, on your billing date

The payout cycle

  1. The commission is recorded in the ledger when the customer departs.
  2. It stays “pending” as long as the rental is not finished and fully paid.
  3. Once the rental is finished and the balance is zero, it becomes “ready for payout”.
  4. Karya makes the payment, and the line becomes “paid out”, with its date.

Finances shows the summary of the current month and the breakdown by vehicle. You can export the ledger as CSV for your accounting. This section is reserved for the Owner role.
