Create a pricing rule
Long stay, period, promo code, young driver, airport: five types of rules, applied by the server in a fixed order.

Pricing rules are created in “Settings”, “Pricing”. They apply automatically to the price shown to customers, in the booking flow and at the front desk. Only the Owner role can create or edit them; other members can view them.
The five types

The amount
- As a percentage. The percentage always applies to the base price, never to an already discounted price.
- As a fixed amount for the whole rental.
- As a fixed amount per rental day.
The minimum and maximum accepted values are shown in the rule form, in “Settings”, “Pricing”: that is where they are always up to date.
The order of application
- The base price: the daily price multiplied by the number of days.
- Automatic discounts — long stay and period.
- The promo code, if one is entered.
- The price never goes below zero.
- Surcharges — young driver, airport.
The number of rules per agency is capped: once the cap is reached, the “Pricing” screen tells you so and you have to delete one to add another. The final price and the line-by-line breakdown are locked on the booking when it is created: a rule changed later never alters an existing booking.
