The bilingual contract and the condition report

The FR/AR contract is generated automatically upon confirmation. The condition report, or EDL, covers the pickup and the return of the vehicle.

The contract

As soon as a booking is confirmed, Karya generates the rental contract as a PDF, in French and Arabic in a single document. It includes your legal details, the customer’s identity with their national ID card number (CIN) and driver’s license number, the second driver if there is one, the vehicle and its license plate, the dates, the daily price, the total, the deposit, and the payment method.

The condition report

The condition report is done twice: at departure, before handing over the keys, and at return. Each one requires at least 8 photos covering seven mandatory angles — front, rear, left side, right side, interior, fuel gauge, odometer — to which you can add extra photos.

• The fuel level and mileage are mandatory for every condition report.
• Photos can be in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format, up to 5 MB each.
• They are stored in a private space: they can only be opened through a temporary link, from your agency workspace.
• The pickup condition report is the annex to the contract.
